Use Case: The Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt meets Chatbot Startups

The Customer

With over 60,000 apartments in Hesse and Thuringia, the Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt group is one of the leading German housing companies. Fairness and sustainability are the top priorities. The group provides affordable living space to all sections of the population and makes a contribution to the quality of life in both urban and rural areas. In this project, we worked together with hubitation, the start-up accelerator of the Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt.

The Challenge

In order to increase efficiency and service quality, the Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt Group focuses on innovations. An AI-based chatbot will facilitate internal communication in IT support in the future: While the chatbot handles simple queries, complex topics are forwarded to the employees and processed by them. The challenge was to find a young company that could provide the appropriate technology tailor-made, quickly and cost-effectively.

The Measures

As a matchmaker for startups and established companies, we were able to support the Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt Group in their search for a suitable startup (see also Startup Scouting). We have:

  • defined and documented the needs and objectives together with the Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt
  • Identified 150 startups that could potentially take over the task
  • developed with the Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt  evaluation criteria
  • created a list of our top 10 startups for this task and identified the three most relevant startups from it
  • arranged the meeting between the favourites and a team from the Nassauische Heimstätte| Wohnstadt and facilitated the initiation of the pilot project
  • …and we accompanied the final contractor as well as the Nassauische Heimstätte | Wohnstadt during the entire work process,  when required.
