EMO Hannover 2025 where mechanical engineering meets startups
Between September 22 and 26, 2025, a meeting of traditional expertise and fresh innovative power will take place in Hanover. In addition to established players from the mechanical engineering sector, up–and–coming startups and innovative companies will also be showing what they have to offer.
EMO Hannover, the world’s leading trade fair for production technology, which takes place every two years, attracts machine tool manufacturers from all over the world. It is regarded as the industry’s key event and sets the standards for metalworking.
Around 1500 exhibitors will be presenting at EMO Hannover 2025. Key topics include Future of Business, Future of Sustainability in Production and Future of Connectivity. In this context, startups also play a central role and are actively promoted by EMO Hannover. There will also be various formats for startups in 2025, including a startup networking evening and a startup matchmaking event where established companies in the industry meet start-ups.
Startup Matchmaking (22. September to 25. September 2025)
As part of the startup matchmaking, we identify the startups relevant to you from around 100 exhibiting startups on site and give you an insight into the startups and optionally organize 1-to-1 meetings with suitable startups. The matchmaking format enables you to get to know each other efficiently in the Startup Area at EMO Hannover and can be the first step towards a successful collaboration.

🔹 When? In a 60-minute time slot on one of the first four days of the fair (22.09. to 25.09.)

🔹 Organiser? An initiative of the VDW at EMO Hannover in cooperation with VDMA Startup-Machine, organized by Ambivation.
🔹 Registration? Places limited – allocation on a first come, first served basis
